Showtime in the gravel Motodrom: The ADAC Wikinger Rallye in and around Schleswig was a spectacle of motorsport – praised by the drivers from Germany and Denmark for its demanding trials in the county of Schleswig-Flensburg and enthusiastically received by the numerous spectators. The ground of the former barracks „Auf der Freiheit“ was an ideal central service point with the impressive gravel Motodrom and the paddock up close. As much as 3000 motorsport fans watched the rally, which had won the duo Peter Corazza/Ronald Bauer (Oelsnitz/Neumark, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VII) after 151 kilometres in 14 sections. “The most beautiful thing to a rally is if doctors and ambulance personnel are not required. You can arrange everything else” said Jürgen Krabbenhöft, clerk of the course.
